as observed by mike: when you lock the door from the inside turn the key
back vertical.  as otherwise makes it extremely hard to get the f inside.

nobodys doin their dam dishes.  sho, sometimes you too tired to do em for
a while, but seems like we got all kindsa tired people roun the kitchen
lass week leavin pots an pans of all descripshuns in dere.  

no value judgment implied.  but i got nothin to cook with and now gotta do
somebodys dam dishes for em.

also, as a general principle: as long as the dishwasher's dirty, there's
really no reason to put dishes in the sink.  this pattern has been
mystifying me from the beginning.  it doesn't really bother me, i just
don't understand what's supposed to happen to them in there.
